Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio 750ML

Pale, straw-yellow color. Pure, intense flavors with a pleasant aftertaste of ripe apples make it unmistakable. Santa Margherita was the first winery to process the pink Pinot Grigio grapes into a white wine. During vinification, the wine does not remain on the skins, so that the pigments in the skins do not affect the color. After gentle pressing, the must ferments for 10-15 days at a controlled temperature of 18°C. After vinification, the wine remains in stainless steel tanks at a stable temperature of 15-16°C before being bottled young and fresh and released for sale.

The winery was founded in the 1930s by the ingenious and forward-thinking businessman Gaetano Marzotto. His dream was to combine his agricultural and industrial interests to get the best out of the soils of Veneto and Trentino-Alto Adige. Santa Margherita's sensational concept of producing a single-varietal wine of excellent quality with limited yields was revolutionary. This consistent focus on quality made Santa Margherita one of the most renowned wineries in the entire region.
